Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of Stride. By creating an account or using Stride, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms.

Not medical care or emergency service

Stride provides peer-support and self-tracking tools. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, crisis response, or professional counseling. Do not rely on Stride for an emergency. Contact local emergency services or a qualified professional when needed.

Your account

Provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and notify us of unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity through your account. You may delete your account in the app.

Community conduct

Do not harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, discriminate against, or endanger others; encourage self-harm or illegal activity; post illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, or graphic content; disclose another person's private information; spam; evade blocks or moderation; or misuse the service. Use reporting and blocking tools when needed. We may remove content or restrict accounts to protect users and operate the service.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Stride a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, moderate, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit it.

Subscriptions

Stride Plus subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store. Prices and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, subject to Apple's rules. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting a Stride account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.

Availability and termination

We may modify or discontinue features and may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, legal requirements, or service protection. You may stop using Stride at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stride is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. Stride is not responsible for user statements or offline interactions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stride and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Apple terms

For iOS use, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms, the Apple terms control for that issue.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post the new effective date. Material changes may also be announced in the app. Questions: support@soberstride.app.
